Shenandoah National Park

Offering more than 500 miles of stunning trails, Shenandoah National Park in Luray, Virginia is a great place for you and your dog to explore. The trails here are developed to allow both visitors and their pets to enjoy the experience while preserving the native animals and resources. Shenandoah offers spectacular views, quiet spots to picnic and is a popular place to see deer and songbirds. There are also plenty of nearby campground sites that are accomodating for your RV rental.

Great Sand Dunes National Park

Take the journey to Colorado and experience the tallest dunes in North America. Great Sand Dunes National Park offers plenty of amazing trails and spectacular views that you and your dog are sure to love. Visitors traveling with a pet are encouraged to stay at Pinon Flats Campground. This National Parks Service campground is dog friendly and accommodating to RV rentals.

If you’re looking for a fun activity for you and your pup, check out the park’s Bark Ranger program. Dogs participating in the program are sworn in as Bark Rangers and their owners can purchase a Bark Ranger tag they can sport around the park.
